E10: Wow, Carrie is Problematic

CONTENT WARNING: Discussion of abuse, mass murder.

*Special note: we recorded this episode before the horrific and senseless shooting in Uvalde, Texas. While we don’t talk about shootings in this episode, the story does involve a climactic scene where students are killed in a school. We are heartbroken that so many innocent baby's lives were taken and we hope that change will happen so that these shootings end. In episode 10, we’re getting into some good old fashioned horror. Stephen King’s classic Carrie has always been one of our faves, but is it still? Directed by Brian de Palma of Scarface fame and starring Sissy Spacek, Piper Laurie, Amy Irving, Nancy Allen, John Travolta. From religious mothers to pig's blood, this flick has all the problematic things and we’re gonna talk 'em! So as Billy would say, “keep your t*ts on!” It’s gonna be a wild ride y’all!
