E1: Wow, Splash is Problematic

For our maiden voyage we are diving into the 1984 film Splash. Directed by Ron Howard and starring Darryl Hannah, Tom Hanks, John Candy and Eugene Levy. Splash was critically praised as one of the best films of that year and nominated for an Oscar for best original screenplay. But don’t worry it’s plenty problematic and we’re gonna tell you all why.
